The Inverness members of the NVCS team recently installed 5 new Cisco VC systems, including one in each of the Emergency Department clinic rooms and a Wi-Fi enabled mobile unit, in the new Broadford Hospital on Skye.
The units will allow staff to more effectively liaise with colleagues elsewhere, either over traditional VC or by taking advantage of the high quality cameras, microphones and large screens in Microsoft Teams meetings by making use of the Teams interop functionality.
It’s also possible to make use of the large displays for presentations in two of the rooms, for example during training or remote physiotherapy sessions, negating the requirement for projectors and screens.
