Remote Audience Etiquette

  • Ensure participants address the room. Background conversations will not be picked up properly by the microphone.
  • Mute the microphone when you are not speaking.
  • Behave as you would if you were in the same room as the speaker. It is obvious to the remote site when you are distracted.
  • Unless it is unavoidable don’t walk out during a session. The speaker can see you.
  • To ask questions during a Q & A session it is best to raise your hand.
