Near Me Update R99 – 6th August – Update

17th July 2026, 08:15 – Platform Availability Notice

We have just been informed that during the R99 deployment maintenance window – 6th August, 00:15 – 03:45 GMT – the platform is likely to be unavailable for between 1.5 and 2 hours. If you have any colleagues who use the platform outside standard working hours, please make them aware they will require an alternative contact method during that time.

R99 Platform Update

We expect Vitalhub to release an update to the platform early on the 6th of August 2026 between 00:15 and 03:45 GMT.

Feature updates for both Standard and Group calls will include further alignment with WCAG 2.2 recommendations for caller entry screens and the ability for callers to hide their self view from the beginning of their call, i.e. from before they are joined by a Service Provider.

In addition, Service Providers in group calls, should be able to download a participant list from the platform showing entry and exit times for their callers. Since the platform has been designed to keep no caller detail after a call ends, Service Providers must download the list before they end the call. It is believed this feature will receive further attention in future updates.

For Service and Org admins there will be some improvements to navigation within their management interfaces.

The release will include some bug fixes too including the ability to use the new MS Forms domain address in post-call landing pages without having to convert those URLs to the old format.
