The problem has been resolved. SMS caller arrival alerts are working as intended.

Service Providers can set up an caller alert that sends a text message to them whenever a caller arrive in their Waiting Area. At present, there is a lag in receiving those text messages.
Induction, the company that supplies the Attend Anywhere platform that the Near Me Service runs on, is aware of the problem.
We will update when we have further information.
