We have found that the latest version of Safari (versions 26.4 and 26.5) on macOS 15.7.5 and 15.7.7.cannot be used to enter Near Me calls by either a Service Provider or citizen/patient. However, many newer Macs (under 6 years old) will be running macOS 26.4 or 26.5 by now. They are unaffected as are iPhone and iPad users.
The workaround, should you or your callers be affected, is to use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome or DuckDuckGo, or another device.
Induction, the company that supplies the Attend Anywhere platform that the Near Me service runs on, is aware of the problem
