We have found that the latest version of Safari (version 26.4) on macOS 15.7.5 cannot be used to enter Near Me calls as either a Service Provider or citizen/patient. However, many newer Macs (under 6 years old) will be running macOS 26.4 by now. They are unaffected as are iPhone and iPad users.
The workaround, should you or your callers be affected, is to use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome or DuckDuckGo or another device.
