NHS Lothian – internet disruption 4th March 19:00 – 22:00

NHS Lothian is updating its network between 19:00 and 22:00 on Wednesday the 4th of March 2026. It is likely that NHSL users may encounter problems linking to internet based systems such as Near Me/Attend Anywhere during that time, if operating from NHSL premises.

If using an NHSL laptop from an off-network location, it is less likely your connection will be affected. If you do encounter problems accessing the Attend Anywhere platform, you could try again after disconnecting from your VPN connection e.g. AnyConnect or similar.

If you continue to encounter problems, it is acceptable to use a suitable personal device for your Near Me call and continue to use your NHSL PC for data entry.
