The National Virtual Consultation Service provides virtual consultation support to NHS Scotland. public bodies and related organisations.
Hosted by NHS Grampian and funded by the Scottish Government, the service provides a one-stop-shop for the technical support of the Near Me and Connect Me services. Our technical support for Near Me extends to the Scottish Government, many local authorities and other public bodies as well as a number of third sector organisations.
The National VC service desk team is distributed across Scotland with team members based in Grampian, Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Highland, Lanarkshire and Lothian. Access to the service is via a shared email: vc.support@nhs.scot and telephone number: 01224 816666.
To ensure the service continues to meet the needs of users throughout NHS Scotland, the service is governed by the VC Programme Board.
