The Technology Enabled Care (TEC) workstreams focus on using simple technology to support more people to access care from home or closer to home.
TEC was part of the Scottish Government’s Digital Health and Care Division.
The work was originally commissioned by the Scottish Government’s Technology Enabled Care Programme (2015 – 2023). Read more about Digital Health and Care Scotland’s 2025-26 Delivery Plan.
Workstreams
The TEC team worked across Health, Social Care and Housing, supporting a wide range of workstreams such as the Near Me service, Connect Me, Digital Mental Health, Telecare and Digital Approaches in Care Homes.
